【Important Notes for Visitors】

  • Please refrain from using strong fragrances such as perfume. Smoking immediately before the tour is also prohibited.
  • We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing small children.
  • Chewing gum, candy, or any food items should not be consumed during the tour.
  • For food safety reasons, wearing a mask during the tour is required.
  • Please sanitize your hands with alcohol before participating. Only individuals with a temperature below 37.5℃ can join the tour.
  • For safety management purposes, we will collect your contact information.
  • If you or someone in your group requires the use of a wheelchair or a cane, please consult with us in advance.
  • We do not allow tasting for individuals who are driving, underage, or pregnant or nursing women.

《Sakagura Tour Course》

Our staff will guide you through the brewery, explaining the entire process of shochu production. During the aroma of koji and shochu, please take your time to observe how the shochu is crafted by the Toji (master brewer) and brewery workers while learning the basics about shochu.

Please gather in the hall of our brewery 10 minutes before your reserved time.

Our staff will provide easy-to-understand explanations about the history of the brewery’s main gate and the shochu production process.

You will have the chance to see the actual materials used, such as fresh ingredients received from the local farmers, the process of making koji, and physical samples of white and black koji and yeast.

You will see tanks that have gone through secondary fermentation, distillation machines, and the storage status of barrel-aged shochu.

Free tasting available at Hall. Depending on the season, you can also try rare, limited-edition products. Compare and taste various shochu varieties to find your favorite brand.
(Straight, with water, on the rocks, mixed with hot water, mixed with soda).

《Blending Course》

This course includes the brewery tour along with a blending experience. You will have the opportunity to learn about the process of shochu production during the tour and enjoy the unique experience of blending shochu with the blender.

Our staff will provide easy-to-understand explanations about the history of the brewery’s main gate and the shochu production process.

Enjoy a blending experience in the hall. Explore the profound world of blending that is not usually available and create your own original blend.
